I would definitely recommend Antbear lodge to anyone that is looking for a beautiful and quite holiday. There are a few activities to do at and around Antbear. We went there for our Honeymoon and how happy we are for choosing Antbear. The food is absolutely delicious and they offer the most relaxing massages. The staff is amazing. Following on from our disastrous experience at Ocean Gorge in Ballito, we got in contact with Andrew at Antbear Lodge... We explained our experience and he could accommodate us immediately even at a discounted rate... When we dove to Antbear Lodge, we were welcomed by such friendly staff, competent and excellence. The place is serene, nestled in the mountains of the Drakensburg. The rate included breakfast and dinner daily, which included wholesome meals, the effort made by the staff, although more expensive, the hospitality industry is about service and these people know exactly what they're doing... And my doggies are loving it, as am I. I'll definitely come back here.. Thank you Antbear..

Not the easiest to get to if raining...roads are not suitable for normal cars. Room smelt very much like smoke because the fire smoke does not escape properly. Supper was awesome, but breakfast was very average. I would say not worth what you pay for.
