Account security
Authentication privacy notice
This notice explains optional sign-in methods. Available methods depend on your browser, device and the integrations enabled for EventBookr.
Connected Google, Apple and Facebook accounts
If you choose an available provider, it authenticates you under its own policies. EventBookr receives a provider-specific account identifier and the profile information you authorise, which may include your name, email address and profile photo. We request basic sign-in information, not access to your contacts or permission to post for you.
Review your details before creating an account. Importing an available photo is optional; it is validated, compressed and stored through EventBookr’s media service. Apple may provide a private relay email address and does not provide a profile photo. A matching email address does not automatically connect or merge existing accounts.
Google and Facebook access tokens are used for the required identity request and are not retained as member sign-in credentials. An Apple revocation credential is encrypted on the server so the connection can be revoked when you disconnect or your account deletion is processed. Temporary authorisation and verification records expire after at most 30 minutes.
Read the Google privacy policy, Apple privacy policy or Meta privacy policy before choosing that provider.
Browser passkeys
Your browser or authenticator holds the private passkey. EventBookr stores its public key and security metadata so it can verify your sign-in. Your device may ask for biometrics or another supported local authorisation. EventBookr does not receive that biometric information or your device passcode. You can name and remove passkeys in your account settings.
Optional mobile biometric unlock
When you enable Face ID, Touch ID or supported Android biometrics, your device protects a revocable EventBookr refresh credential in its secure storage. Your password is not stored for this feature. Biometric images and templates stay with your device; EventBookr does not receive them. Changing biometric enrollment can make the credential unavailable, in which case you can use a normal sign-in method.
Your choices and deletion
You can manage connected accounts and passkeys in your account settings and turn mobile biometric unlock off on that device. Keep at least one usable sign-in method. If you need a password for recovery or a protected privacy action, use password recovery to establish one through your account email.
To request deletion, open account privacy or contact support@eventbookr.com. We verify your identity and apply the existing listing, subscription and retention safeguards. Completed deletion removes linked identities, passkeys and device credentials and revokes retained Apple grants. See the privacy policy for the wider retention and rights information.
