We are a family-friendly events venue conveniently located along Moloto Road in Kameeldrift East, Pretoria, just a few kilometres from the scenic Roodeplaat Dam.
Set in lush gardens with plenty of trees, Rocky Ridge Events offers five unique and versatile self-catering or catered function venues. Our spaces are ideal for birthdays, weddings, corporate functions, school outings, graduations, and other special occasions. Whether you’re hosting an intimate celebration or a large gathering, we have the perfect venue to suit your needs.
One of our standout features is the magical Fantasy Mini-Town—a miniature village designed for children to explore, play, and learn in a safe, enclosed environment. Complete with traffic lights, road signs, street names, and themed buildings, this unique play area lets kids enjoy imaginative adventures. From mini police stations and hospitals to a tiny chapel, B&B, and primary school, Fantasy Mini-Town offers endless fun for little ones.
In addition to Fantasy Mini-Town, we offer multiple jungle gyms and garden play areas to keep children entertained for hours. Extra activities like jumping castles and a foam pit are also available for hire, making our venue a favourite for families and kids’ parties.
Guests can enjoy our spacious lapas and outdoor areas equipped with built-in braai facilities for self-catering events. For those seeking a stress-free experience, our friendly and experienced team can handle everything—including catering, equipment hire, décor hire, set-up, and cleaning services.

We had our son's 3rd birthday @Rocky Ridge and it was a great success. The kids enjoyed the little town sò much it was an absolute hit. We also hired the bubble pit, and it was woth it, the children couldn't get enough of it. If you are worried about safety, like me, you are set here, everything is close enough and you have a birds eye on you child the entire time, the staff are super friendly and on point and very helpful. All decorations are included in the venue and you can add more of your own for that personal touch if you want, I loved the quality of the table cloths and they weren't stained like most other venues' hired table cloths. A very good experience, I will recommend Rocky Ridge to all moms looking for a great place to host her little chickens' party. They LOVE this setting and play until they can't anymore. We literally carried our son to the car, he was so tired from playing all day. P.s. Hire your venue for the day, it's much more cost effective and you will be less stressed and pressed for time.

What a stunning venue my son had his 3rd birthday party there and they had the best time ever! I would highly recommend this beautiful venue to every mom, Wanda was so friendly and gave us a warm welcome, came to check if we needed anything, thank you Wanda for your kindness that is all a person wants when visiting a place, the foam pit was the best part of the day, I will definitly use this venue again in future!

What a fantastic venue! The kids enjoyed the Mini Town so much! There is a hospital, school, police station, drive-through, chapel, B&B, and petrol pumps... The WORKING traffic lights were definitely a favorite! The booking process was very effective, and you can rent cutlery and crockery from them at very reasonable prices! The staff is very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back!
